Why do people get traditional travellers mixed up with new age travellers?

I asked a question about travelling comunities and got some very offensive answers confusing travellers with new age travellers. Traditional travellers are hard working and have a love for the world, and in my experience respect the land we live on more than most. Why do people jump to uninformed conclusions so easily?

   Because people (in general) are ignorant and stupid. Don’t let it get to you. Just click the thumbs down if the answer is stupid, or the report button if it’s offensive. Then it will conveniently disappear.
