What is the easiest way to start a home recording studio? (new age music)?

See if you can get a used Mac with that Garage band software. Its pretty cool, and you can simulate difft instruments. You can same your files to different formats, and maybe add other sounds to it. Not sure if it comes with a mixer or not.
